These Terms of Use govern your use of the MySkinalysis app ("App"), operated by MySkinalysis ("we", "us", or "our"), trading as skinalysis. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
MySkinalysis is a skincare companion app that uses artificial intelligence to analyse your skin and generate personalised skincare routine recommendations. The App is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only.
The information and recommendations provided by MySkinalysis are for general informational and wellness purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The skin analysis results, routine suggestions, and product recommendations generated by the App are based on AI analysis and publicly available skincare research — they are not a substitute for professional medical or dermatological advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or dermatologist before making changes to your skincare routine, particularly if you have a skin condition, allergy, or medical concern. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on anything you read or see in this App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The App is intended primarily for users aged 18 and over.
To use the App, you must create an account using your email address and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at admin@myskinalysis.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
MySkinalysis offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The Pro subscription unlocks additional features including full skin analysis, personalised routines, product recommendations, cycle tracking, and ingredient scanning.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms. Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings at any time.
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
When you use the skin scan feature, you provide a photo of your face. This photo is sent to our AI processing partner (Anthropic) for analysis. The photo is processed to generate your skin analysis results and is not stored permanently on our servers. We do not use your face data for identification purposes, advertising, or any purpose other than generating your skin analysis. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

All content within the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of MySkinalysis or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the skin analysis results or recommendations for your specific needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MySkinalysis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to any adverse reactions to skincare products or routines recommended by the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App by going to Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your personal data, skin analysis history, and routine data from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
